VNG and SCTV cooperate to link digital services

VNG Corporation (VNG) and SCTV Cable Television Company Limited (SCTV) have just officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement on information technology and telecommunications, aiming to bring better quality digital services to users.

Within the framework of cooperation, VNG Cloud - a cloud computing solution provider under VNG, will be responsible for providing CDN infrastructure and services related to data storage and cloud computing for partner SCTV, thereby enhancing digital transformation capacity in the television, information technology and telecommunications industry for SCTV.

SCTV, with its leading telecommunications network infrastructure in Vietnam, will provide domestic and international bandwidth, Internet transmission network infrastructure, point-to-point transmission channels (MPLS, VPN)... to enhance the transmission capacity for VNG Cloud's cloud computing services.

Meanwhile, VNG, with its scalable cloud architecture combined with SCTV's diverse transmission channels, will help expand bandwidth flexibly according to customer needs. For example, VNG Cloud will upgrade and ensure SCTV's IT infrastructure before the La Liga tournament officially kicks off to meet the sudden increase in viewership.

VNG and its diverse product ecosystem will also provide diverse digital entertainment content including eSports, digital music and related services on partner channels, thereby contributing to enhancing digital transformation capacity and ensuring SCTV's pioneering position in digital content.

From there, SCTV will increase the quantity and quality of digital entertainment content on channels and improve transmission connections to diversify customer experiences and enhance competitiveness. SCTV will also invest more in real-time digital entertainment content, especially sports programs, e-sports, online games, etc. to meet the actual needs of customers.

The cooperation and service exchange relationship between VNG, VNG Cloud and SCTV is expected to bring customers a series of innovations in television entertainment service experiences, information technology and telecommunications based on cloud computing platforms, thereby setting new standards for digital services in the 4.0 era.
