Provincial People's Procuracy and Legal Department sign regulations on coordination of work

Representatives of the Provincial People's Procuracy and the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee signed the coordination regulations.

Accordingly, the Coordination Regulations are implemented on the principle of compliance with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and the functions, tasks and powers of each agency.

The coordination contents include: Supervision, survey; examination; activities of the People's Procuracy; receiving and handling complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections of citizens in judicial activities; implementing the provisions in Clause 1, Article 100 of the Law on Organization of Local Government.

Based on functions and tasks, each unit supports the implementation of assigned tasks, ensures information security according to regulations, and does not affect the implementation of tasks and operations of related agencies and units.

The coordination regulations aim to further improve the effectiveness of information provision, receiving and handling crime reports and recommendations for prosecution, contributing to the fight against crime, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the province. Thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the direction and supervision of local state power agencies.

After 6 years of implementing the coordination regulations between the two agencies, many important results have been achieved, contributing to maintaining the solidarity of ethnic groups, educating and raising awareness of law observance among the people; maintaining political security, social order and safety, discipline, law, and improving socialist legality. Thereby creating favorable conditions for the province to successfully implement political, socio-economic, defense and security goals and tasks in the area.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Giang Thi Hoa suggested that after signing, coordination activities between the two sides must be carried out regularly, promptly, closely, promoting the initiative and responsibility of each side. Every year, the two sides hold joint meetings to evaluate the results of implementing the regulations to gain experience, and at the same time promptly supplement them to ensure that they are consistent with the functions and tasks of each agency. Continue to perform well the functions and tasks; be a sharp tool to protect the law, protect justice of the Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in the province; contribute to building a socialist rule-of-law state, protecting socialist legality.
