VinUni becomes the youngest university, with the fastest speed in the world to achieve QS 5-star certification

VinUni is one of the youngest universities in the world to achieve a comprehensive 5-star QS certification from QS. QS Stars is part of the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) education quality assessment system - a scale of educational quality recognized by famous universities around the world.

Scale recognized by world-renowned universities

The ranking system is based on criteria such as learning experience, student outcomes, sustainability, global engagement, research and innovation. The overall 5-star rating is awarded to universities that score excellently across all criteria.

According to information from VinUni, this university is recognized by QS based on the latest set of standards with strict criteria.

Specifically, VinUni was awarded 5 stars in 9 areas: global integration, transparent governance, strong training programs, academic development, teaching quality, employment opportunities, facilities, culture - arts and social impact.

A multicultural class at VinUni University

Regarding the criteria of Global Integration , VinUni owns a large research and academic cooperation network with prestigious global partners, a high ratio of international lecturers and students, coming from more than 20 countries around the world.

Regarding the criteria of Transparent Governance , VinUni is recognized for its continuous innovation in the governance system. VinUni's policy mechanisms aim at sustainable development, equality and inclusion, and the satisfaction of lecturers and staff.

Regarding the Strength Training Program , VinUni has selected the health science group including the residency medical program and nursing program to participate in the accreditation.

The programs have demonstrated outstanding quality through achieving rigorous international accreditations such as ACGME-I for the residency program, ACEN for the nursing program, and a 100% employment rate for students immediately after graduation.

High employment rate of students

Notably, just 2 months after graduation, 26.6% of VinUni students were accepted into postgraduate training programs at prestigious universities around the world.

VinUni students have personalized learning experiences through academic advising from the first year and support from the advanced Canvas-based learning management system (LMS), along with a 5-star standard facility system since its establishment.

Regarding employment opportunities , just 2 months after the first graduating class, the employment and start-up rate of VinUni students reached 80% compared to QS's requirement of 90% after 24 months. Through the student employment survey, the majority of students received jobs at multinational corporations or leading Vietnamese companies such as E&Y, McKinsey, Google, Bosch, IBM, Techcombank, etc.
