According to the report of the Military Service Council of Vinh Long province, 100% of the recruited citizens are union members, and 14.29% of the citizens have university degrees. The local Military Service Councils continue to effectively implement the military rear policy and promptly resolve any difficulties and problems that arise.

Following the tradition of the heroic homeland of Mang Thit, every year hundreds of citizens of the district register and volunteer to join the army. Many citizens trained in the military and police environment have become military officers and professional soldiers serving long-term in the armed forces.
