Looking back on the 25-year journey with many memorable milestones, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, President of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children Nguyen Kim Hoang emphasized: As a social-charitable organization, operating on a voluntary basis, self-responsible for the direction and management of the state at all levels and specific sectors of the city, the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children currently consists of 650 members, always accompanying and supporting over 12,000 disabled children in Hanoi.
Over the past 25 years, the Association has gathered and attracted many organizations, individuals, and sectors at all levels to voluntarily contribute their efforts, efforts, and intelligence to relief activities and care for children with disabilities.
In particular, the Association has gathered people with qualifications, experience in caring for andeducating children with disabilities, with a compassionate heart, who spare no time and effort to contribute to the development of the Association. The Association's program of activities is practical, effective, closely linked to the grassroots, aiming at the goal of providing relief, care and education for children with disabilities in all areas of the city, especially in areas with many difficulties.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Hoang said that in the coming time, the Association will continue to innovate its operating methods, maintain traditional projects and funding sources, and seek and develop new projects and funding sources for the Association's activities.
At the same time, organize a variety of health care and rehabilitation activities for children with disabilities; teach culture and vocational training; care for relief, ensure material and spiritual life for children with disabilities.
Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children Ngo Sach Thuc especially commended the groups and individuals who have silently contributed, supported, helped, lit up the faith, and helped the dreams of tens of thousands of disabled children in the city.

Appreciating the achievements and contributions of generations of cadres, members, teachers of Specialized Schools, and Centers under the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, Mr. Ngo Sach Thuc requested that each cadre and member continue to foster love for humanity, share with disabled children, always strive to learn from experience, apply scientific and technological achievements to teaching and association work; create conditions for children to play, entertain, and integrate.
At the same time, it is necessary to effectively connect medical examination, treatment, rehabilitation surgery for disabled children in the city, as well as career guidance, vocational training, and job creation for people with disabilities.
In particular, the Association needs to strengthen and expand cooperation in new potential projects, increase resources to support children with disabilities, contribute to helping children with disabilities overcome difficulties, rise up, contribute to implementing humane policies for people, and develop the country.

Within the framework of the program, the Hanoi Association for Relief of Disabled Children was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. 15 individuals were awarded the "For Disabled Children" Medal by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Relief of Disabled Children. 5 groups and 6 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam Association for Relief of Disabled Children.

In recognition of the 25-year milestone, many philanthropists and representatives of non-governmental organizations that have participated in providing relief to disabled children in Hanoi for many years, such as the Blue Dragon Children's Organization (Australia), the European-Asian Brotherhood (France), etc., were honored at the program.

In particular, 10 outstanding cadres and teachers, 25 students and former students with disabilities who have made continuous efforts to improve themselves, affirm their values, and make many contributions to the community - received meaningful awards from the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children on this occasion.
