The closing ceremony was to honor students who had excellent achievements in the "International Young IT Talent" contest launched by the Department of Education and Training and the "Math and English Arena" contest of Ba Dinh district.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Ba Dinh district will organize the "Math and English Arena" contest. This is an intellectual playground where students are not only challenged with their logical thinking and sensitivity to numbers, but also have the opportunity to practice foreign language skills and confidently integrate internationally.
Ba Dinh district students went through 10 preliminary rounds with the enthusiastic participation of primary and secondary school students, with 150,919 competitions (including 97,225 competitions in secondary school Math; 53,694 competitions in primary school Math and English), 8,940 students competed in the preliminary round (including 7,365 students competing in Math and 1,575 students competing in English) at different levels, creating an extremely exciting learning and competitive atmosphere.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh District Nguyen Nhu Tung shared that since 2020, the district has focused on implementing the teaching of international computer science programs in 100% of primary and secondary schools.
The “International Young IT Talent” and “Math and English Arena” competitions are useful intellectual playgrounds where students can freely express their passion, creativity and knowledge accumulated through Math, English and IT subjects, while also nurturing digital skills for students to become future digital citizens of the country.
Ba Dinh Department of Education and Training has granted certificates to 16 groups and 1,299 students who achieved achievements in the final round of the "Math and English Arena"; granted certificates to 78 students who won prizes in the "International Young Informatics Talent" contest for the 2024-2025 school year.

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh district believe that the achievements that the students have achieved through the two competitions are the result of their tireless efforts and self-study spirit, but also the result of the dedication and enthusiasm of the teachers, and the timely support and encouragement of their parents.
The 141 excellent students honored today will be a great source of encouragement for all students in Ba Dinh district to be given more motivation and confidence to continue to strive, practice, and conquer new heights of knowledge.


At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the students in the "International Young Informatics Talent" contest and the gold prize in the "Math and English Arena" playground.
