At the brand launch event held in Manila, VinFast officially signed cooperation contracts with the first four dealers, including EV Solutions, K1 Prestige Bay Motors Inc. and Autoflare Corporation, headquartered in Manila; and MNV Auto Group Inc., headquartered in Iloilo City. The first VinFast dealerships are expected to open in Manila by the end of June 2024.
Dealers will start selling the VF 5, VF e34, VF 7 and VF 9 models as soon as they are launched in the market. The first cars are expected to be delivered to customers in the Philippines from the third quarter of this year.

VinFast is also considering selling the VF 3 mini eSUV model, which is particularly popular in the Vietnamese market, and will also study the option of selling electric motorbikes and electric bicycles in the Philippines. VinFast plans to simultaneously implement a battery leasing policy and sell vehicles with batteries, providing consumers with more options. The unique battery leasing policy will help reduce the cost of electric vehicle ownership and increase accessibility to more users.
In the Philippines, VinFast will apply a market-leading after-sales policy, including a 7-10 year warranty for vehicle models, along with a free battery maintenance and replacement policy if the maximum battery capacity drops below 70% applicable to battery rental, providing customers with a secure experience throughout the product ownership period.

According to the plan, VinFast will open dozens of dealerships in 2024, focusing on major routes in the capital Manila and major cities in the Philippines. With the growing rate of electrified transportation and the growing middle class, this is the spearhead area in VinFast's expansion strategy in the Philippine market.
Mr. Rafael Vincente R. Calinisan, representative of EV Solutions, shared: “We are proud to be one of the first dealers to accompany VinFast on its journey to conquer the Philippine electric car market. We highly appreciate VinFast's business prospects in the market thanks to its competitive advantage in a diverse product range and outstanding warranty policy. Together with VinFast, we will strive to develop and meet the increasing demand for electric vehicles of Filipino consumers, contributing to creating a green and smart transportation future.”
The VF 7 is one of four electric car models on display at the event.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc, General Director of VinFast Philippines said: “Cooperating with reputable partners with extensive experience in the automotive industry, VinFast is committed to bringing Filipino consumers smart, convenient and secure electric mobility solutions in the shortest time. This cooperation marks an important step forward, expanding our presence and creating a solid foundation for VinFast to develop strongly in the Philippine market. We also aim to expand our electric vehicle distribution network to cover major cities in the Philippines, contributing to promoting the irreversible green transportation trend globally.”
The Philippines is the third Southeast Asian market VinFast will be present in in the first 6 months of 2024, after Indonesia and Thailand, thereby affirming its position and ability to accelerate rapidly in the regional market.
In 2024, VinFast will strongly expand and leave its mark in international markets such as the US, Canada, Europe, countries in the Asian region such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Middle East and Africa./.
