VinFast Global CEO Le Thi Thu Thuy speaks at the Sustainable Trade Forum – COP28
The Sustainable Trade Forum took place within the framework of Trade Day, which was held for the first time at the Climate Change Conference. Chaired by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State and Minister of Economy, with the participation of global leaders, industry experts, and representatives of leading businesses in the world. VinFast brought to the discussion session at the Sustainable Trade Forum multi-dimensional strategies to promote supply chain resilience, withstand global disruptions, and minimize environmental impacts. VinFast also shared its strategy for modernizing and optimizing the supply chain for the company's vertically integrated model. In addition, VinFast also contributed approaches from the perspective of businesses from Southeast Asia to improve the flexibility and sustainability of the global supply chain. Representing ASEAN businesses at the COP28 Sustainable Trade Forum, VinFast affirmed its strong commitment to promoting innovation, contributing to zero-emission economic development, towards a more sustainable future for everyone. In addition to the “Strengthening Resilience in Sustainable Supply Chains” session, VinFast representatives also participated in a discussion on electrification of transport in Vietnam organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Transport and UNDP Vietnam. The company shared its experience in developing an electric mobility ecosystem in Vietnam, from manufacturing and developing electric vehicle models, to developing a comprehensive electrified transport ecosystem and charging infrastructure nationwide. During the 12-day event, VinFast’s premium electric car, the VF 9, will be on display at Expo Dubai City. The event also marks the first time the VF 9 model has been introduced to the UAE market.Vietnam.vn
