Vinfast officially launched VF7, price from 850 million VND

VinFast has just officially launched the smart electric car model in the C segment - VF 7. With a liberal design, cutting-edge technology, and outstanding performance, VF 7 is positioned as a car that leads passion, bringing users into the era of electric mobility.

VF 7 is the 6th smart electric SUV model, completing the pure electric SUV product line, covering all segments from A to E of VinFast.

VinFast VF 7 has two versions, Base and Plus, designed in the language of "Asymmetric Aerospace" by Torino Design (Italy), embodying freedom, technology, fashion and personality.

The front and rear of the car are highlighted by VinFast's signature bird-wing LED strip. The coupe-style hood, large wheel arches, and 20-inch alloy wheels contribute to a strong and sporty look.

With a length of 4,545mm (wheelbase of 2,840mm), width of 1,890mm, height of 1,635.75mm and ground clearance of 190mm, VF 7 has a spacious, airy interior with seats covered in high-quality leather.

The VF 7 is designed with the driver in mind, with interior highlights including a large 12.9-inch touchscreen entertainment screen, a head-up display system, a unique two-tone D-cut steering wheel, and a set of gearshift buttons delicately designed like piano keys.

To increase personalization, VF 7 has 6 exterior color options, 2 interior colors, in which the Plus version has a two-tone interior color scheme, suitable for each individual's personality, style and preferences. In addition, users can also choose the Panorama glass roof (Plus version) to bring a sense of luxury and superior experience compared to the C segment.

In terms of operation, VinFast equips the VF 7 Plus version with two electric motors with a total maximum capacity of up to 260 kW (equivalent to 349 horsepower), maximum torque of 500 Nm, and a full-time two-wheel drive system, making this model the most powerful machine in the segment. Combined with a 75.3 kWh battery pack, the car can travel a maximum distance of up to 431 km/full charge (according to WLTP standards).

Meanwhile, the Base version of VF 7 is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum capacity of 130 kW (equivalent to 174 horsepower), maximum torque of 250 Nm and a battery capacity of 59.6 kWh, capable of traveling a maximum distance of 375 km / full charge (according to WLTP standards). If the Plus version will satisfy the maximum passion for speed and the need to travel long distances, the Base version will be a stylish and flexible choice on urban roads.

In terms of safety features, the car is equipped with up to 8 airbags and a full range of advanced active safety systems such as anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (BA), electronic balance (ESC), traction control (TCS), hill start assist (HSA), anti-rollover (ROM) ... In particular, the Plus version is equipped with an advanced driving assistance system ADAS with 11 basic features and 15 advanced features. At the time of delivery, VF 7 will be available with basic ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic warning, blind spot warning, door opening warning, front automatic emergency braking, 360-degree camera system ... Other features will be updated by VinFast for free remotely in 2024.

Both versions have the VF Connect smart service package with a series of the most advanced technologies and a series of smart features such as virtual assistants capable of interacting with multi-regional Vietnamese voice, supporting vehicle control and Q&A, telling jokes; automatic rescue call function; monitoring and warning of illegal intrusion; tracking and displaying vehicle information in real time... These are features only available on VinFast electric cars, completely different from gasoline cars in the same segment.

VinFast VF 7 Base version costs 850 million VND (excluding battery) and 999 million VND (including battery); Plus version costs 999 million VND (excluding battery) and 1.199 billion VND (including battery).

VinFast applies a battery rental package of VND2.9 million/month for a maximum travel distance of 3,000 km/month, and VND4.8 million/month if traveling more than 3,000 km. The battery rental deposit is VND41 million, which will be refunded to customers when they terminate the battery rental contract, return the battery to VinFast, or transfer the vehicle and battery to someone else.

The car is warranted for 10 years or 200,000 km (whichever comes first), the battery that comes with the car is warranted for 10 years, unlimited km. In addition, customers are also supported by a series of unique after-sales services exclusively for VinFast electric cars throughout the use of the car, including: Mobile Service, Mobile Charging, 24/7 Rescue, Special support for incidents arising from manufacturer errors that cause inconvenience to users, Commitment to buy back used electric cars after 5 years... The system of public charging stations covering all highways, urban areas, schools, hospitals, shopping centers... in 63 provinces and cities also helps the use of VinFast electric cars convenient and easy across the country.

VinFast will officially accept deposits for the VF 7 from 12:00 on December 2, 2023 at VinFast showrooms and distributors nationwide or via the website https://reserve.vinfastauto.com . With a non-refundable or non-cancellable deposit of VND 50 million, pioneering customers who deposit VF 7 before 24:00 on December 30, 2023 will receive a discount of VND 30 million (deducted from the car price), and one year of free battery charging at public charging stations. Customers will not enjoy these incentives if they transfer the deposit to someone else to buy the car.

It is expected that the first commercial VF 7s will be delivered to customers by VinFast before Lunar New Year.
