On September 16, Vinamilk delivered many milk products, water, and gifts to people and children in suburban districts of Hanoi that are still suffering from prolonged flooding due to the impact of the storm. In addition to Hanoi, 10 other provinces and cities affected by storms and floods are also receiving urgent delivery from Vinamilk , a total of 550,000 products, equivalent to 3 billion VND, to support people, children, and disaster prevention forces. Over the past few days, people in many suburban districts of Hanoi are still facing many difficulties due to the flood water not receding. For example, in Quoc Oai district, more than 1,200 households in 7 communes still have flood water entering their houses; of which, the district has evacuated nearly 300 households, with 1,129 people.

Support products have been transported and delivered to localities to support people in suburban districts of Hanoi.

More than a week after Typhoon Yagi swept through, many houses in Thach That district are still flooded. Previously, the district had more than 160 households evacuated due to the rising water level of the Tich River. Among them, many families with elderly people and children are in dire need of support. To share some of the difficulties and boost the optimism of the people, on the afternoon of September 16, a working group from Vinamilk and Ha Noi Moi Newspaper directly visited, transported 40,000 nutritional products and presented 1,000 gifts (including Vinamilk fresh milk, Ong Tho condensed milk and ABC bread) to the people and flood prevention and control forces in Thach That and Quoc Oai districts.

Boxes of milk and cakes come to many children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival.
It is known that these gift bags are among 3,000 gifts packaged by Vinamilk employees of the Warehouse and Branch in Hanoi together in just 1 day to send to places in need of support.

Vinamilk employees together made thousands of gifts to send to people in provinces affected by natural disasters.

Mr. Do Thanh Tuan, Director of External Relations of Vinamilk shared: “A week after the storm, people in many places are still facing many difficulties, still “living with the flood”. But when I came here, I felt that in these days, people have been helping each other, sharing with each other and also showing optimism. These things have helped ease the difficulties. I hope the water will recede soon so that the lives of the people and children here can quickly return to normal”.

Many gifts, milk and water products were also given to the cadres of the disaster prevention and control team and dike protection team.

In the support campaign to support northern compatriots affected by storm No. 3, Vinamilk has donated a total of 550,000 products to 11 provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Cao Bang, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai. Of which, there are 100,000 nutritional products equivalent to 500 million VND, to support people in suburban districts of Hanoi including Chuong My, My Duc, Phu Xuyen, Quoc Oai, Thach That, which are suffering many impacts after storms and floods.
