Viktor Le continues to shine

In the 1-0 victory over host Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club (HAGL) in round 19 of V-League 2024-2025 on April 18, Viktor Le had an impressive performance, contributing greatly to helping Ha Tinh Club win all 3 points right on the "fire pan" of Pleiku.

With a keen sense of play, modern playing techniques and impressive physique, the Vietnamese-American player overwhelmed the opposing midfielders and created beautiful passes to help his teammates score goals against HAGL.

Viktor Le scored the only goal to help Ha Tinh FC defeat HAGL at home in the first leg of the V-League this season. The midfielder has scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 17 appearances, including 8 starts this season.

Born and raised in Russia, Viktor Le - full name Le Khac Viktor - is gradually asserting his talent and ambition as a young player of Vietnamese origin on his journey to conquer his dream of playing for the Vietnamese national team. At the age of 21, Viktor Le is not only a new phenomenon in the hearts of fans but also a role model for a generation of players of Vietnamese origin who aspire to contribute to their homeland's football.

Since childhood, he has been exposed to professional football in the youth training environment of traditional Russian clubs such as Torpedo Moscow and CSKA Moscow. The decision to return to Vietnam in 2023 is a major turning point in Viktor's career. Many people were skeptical about Viktor Le's adaptation to a different football environment, but he quickly proved his worth in Binh Dinh Club. In the 2023 V-League season, he played 16 matches, making a strong impression with his ability to escape pressing, pass the ball intelligently and move flexibly without the ball.

Thinking that he would flourish and become a new pillar at Quy Nhon Stadium, Viktor Le gradually lost the opportunity to play in the 2023-2024 season. Under coach Bui Doan Quang Huy, he was not registered to play regularly. Due to not finding a common voice with the coaching staff, he decided to leave Binh Dinh Club.

Moving to Ha Tinh Club was a wise decision, as he was trained and played in a team with great desire and a cohesive playing style. Here, Viktor Le gradually regained his form, played regularly and contributed positively to the overall playing style, especially leaving his mark with his elegant and enthusiastic playing style.

Not only scoring points with his expertise, Viktor Le also shows his professionalism and great ambition. Viktor Le shares pictures of his visit to his hometown, explores Vietnamese cuisine and chats with fans, making him closer to the audience.

In December 2024, Viktor Le officially completed the procedures for obtaining Vietnamese citizenship. Immediately after that, the head coach of the Vietnam U22 team summoned him to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games and the 2026 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers.

Coach Dinh Hong Vinh commented: "Viktor has modern tactical thinking, intelligent ball handling and teamwork. He needs time to integrate but his potential is undeniable." With a progressive spirit, hard work and impressive adaptability, Viktor Le deserves to be the name expected to shine in the near future.
