Viettel organizes in-depth workshop on information security on the network

With the theme "Information security investment orientation for the digital future", the event attracted nearly 300 delegates who are IT and Information Security (IS) leaders of enterprises, leading domestic and international experts to discuss and share experiences on issues related to trends, safety strategies, network security and provide optimal solutions for safe investment, network security for Vietnamese enterprises while still ensuring full compliance with IS regulations in the data era.

During the seminar, the topics shared by speakers from VCS and Viettel IDC provided an overview of the current IT security risk situation, helping businesses identify cyber attack forces, and at the same time providing new approaches for businesses to improve security and IT security capacity.

At the hands-on session, VCS demonstrated live to nearly 300 delegates the common forms of attacks today and solutions such as: Experience preventing data encryption attacks (ransomware), preventing account theft attacks, protecting websites and transmission lines from denial of service attacks, detecting and handling early risks of data leakage from within the organization. Within the framework of the event, VCS also simulated an attack on an office's IoT network - one of the typical types of attacks that every business faces today.
