On August 8, Viettel Ninh Binh (under the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group) celebrated its 20th anniversary (August 10, 2004 - August 10, 2024).

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc presented a banner from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to Viettel Ninh Binh.

On August 10, 2004, Viettel Ninh Binh was officially established, initially with 16 officers and employees, the office had to rent a house, the facilities were difficult. After 20 years of construction and development, Viettel Ninh Binh has now become a telecommunications enterprise with over 500 BTS stations, more than 800 2G, 3G, 4G broadcasting stations. Providing high-speed Internet and mobile services in the province with over 700,000 subscribers, accounting for the number 1 market share; bringing Viettel waves to cover all villages, alleys, remote areas to serve customers using services, not only serving people's lives but also serving to ensure security and national defense. Revenue in 2023 reached nearly 700 billion VND; annually contributing over 30 billion VND to the State budget.

This is also the first unit to test 5G broadcasting in the province and deploy 4G coverage to 100% of villages and hamlets. Viettel Internet network is deployed in 100% of communes, wards and towns across the province. Viettel Ninh Binh is a leading enterprise in the province in providing information technology solutions, digital services, pioneering in digital transformation, bringing new knowledge and new technology to the people; at the same time creating jobs and stable income for thousands of workers. Along with that, Viettel Ninh Binh always accompanies local authorities to do a good job of social security in the area.

Speaking at the Ceremony, the representative of the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group acknowledged and praised the results that Viettel Ninh Binh has achieved in the past 29 years; continuing to affirm the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era. At the same time, he respectfully expressed his sincere and deep thanks to the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - Provincial People's Committee; departments, branches, local authorities at all levels, partners, customers and people who have always given affection, accompanied, shared and motivated Viettel Ninh Binh to be creative and dedicated.

In addition, it is recommended that the unit continue to deploy synchronous solutions, affirming the goal of becoming a pioneering enterprise, leading in digital transformation, making important contributions to the construction of e-government, smart cities, and digital transformation enterprises.

Presenting a banner and congratulatory flowers to Viettel Ninh Binh, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his belief that with the spirit of creativity, pioneering and speed, Viettel Ninh Binh will continue to promote the successes achieved, making more and more important contributions to the province's digital transformation, successfully completing Viettel's mission of "creating a digital society".

On this occasion, many collectives and officers of Viettel Ninh Binh were honored to receive emulation titles from the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province; Military Industry - Telecommunications Group for their outstanding achievements in performing their duties. Viettel Ninh Binh also presented commemorative medals to pay tribute to generations of Viettel officers through the ages.
