The 5th season of the Talented Trainee Program (Viettel Digital Talent) will expand the training scale, providing more opportunities for students to study, orient and research 9 majors in the technology field.
Viettel has just officially opened the portal to receive applications for the Talented Trainee Program (Viettel Digital Talent) season 5. The deadline for receiving applications is March 13.
Expected to enroll nearly 500 talented candidates
Accordingly, entering the 5th season, the Talented Trainee Program (Viettel Digital Talent) will expand its training scale, providing more opportunities for students to study, orient and research in a total of 9 majors: Cloud, Cyber Security, Data Science & AI, Internet of Things (IOT), 5G, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Aerospace, Semiconductor.
The program is expected to enroll nearly 500 talented candidates from within and outside the country and 50% of the students will be selected to become official employees of the Group.
Among the technology internship programs on the market, this is one of the few internship programs that provide financial support for students, helping candidates directly participate in real projects at Viettel's specialized departments.
Talented Interns (Viettel Digital Talent) is an annual program implemented by Viettel since 2021. The program is part of the strategy to develop young human resources in the technology field to carry out the pioneering mission and lead the way in creating a digital society.
The program is designed by leading Viettel experts to help young talents discover their potential and develop expertise in high-tech fields.
Give more opportunities to talented interns
During the first 3 months, students participating in the Talent Trainee Program (Viettel Digital Talent) will receive in-depth training and career guidance from leading experts at home and abroad (Australia, USA, Singapore, Germany, Taiwan...) from universities and large technology corporations (Viettel, Google, Shopee...).
In the next 3 months, students will directly participate in large practical projects at Viettel units. With the scale of Vietnam's leading technology group, Viettel brings students a professional, systematic experience but no less interactive with teambuilding activities, exchanges, and connections with talented peers and seniors in the profession.
According to the program organizers, Viettel Digital Talent hopes to bring a lot of knowledge and practical experience to 3rd and 4th year students and new graduates with excellent academic achievements and specialized awards in information technology.
In 2025, the projects included in the program will be set by the Board of Directors of Viettel's centers and units, ensuring that the topics presented are all key problems that solve customer needs. At the same time, candidates in 2025 will also have an advantage thanks to the establishment of the Viettel Digital Talent Alumni community.
By participating in this community, trainees are connected with trainees from previous seasons, receive direct consultation and take a competency test.
The program will also organize large-scale seminars at universities to share interview skills, complete application documents and support candidates to supplement and improve their skills, giving them a better advantage when graduating.

Official job opportunity at Top 5 best workplaces in Vietnam
Previously, the Talented Internship Program (Viettel Digital Talent) in 2024 attracted more than 3,000 applications (1.5 times more than in 2023).
The organizing committee has selected 179 candidates for training and internship at key projects of Viettel's member units. Of which, 40% of the ideas and initiatives coming from the program have been applied in practice at Viettel, bringing positive values to customers and the community.
At the end of the program, more than 101 excellent students were officially signed labor contracts to work at Viettel, 2.5 times more than season 3, and enjoyed benefits equivalent to those of graduates.
In the recently announced Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam 2024, Viettel is the only 100% state-owned enterprise in the top 5, which affirms the difference in working culture as well as a challenging working environment and opportunities for young people.
Viettel is also the only state-owned corporation in Vietnam to receive Great Place to Work certification.
