CAMEx is an AI model fusion method jointly researched by Viettel AI and National University of Singapore (NUS).
This method will be announced by Viettel AI at ICLR 2025 (International Conference on Learning Representations) - one of the leading prestigious international conferences in the field of artificial intelligence.
In the context of large language models increasingly expanding in scale and training costs skyrocketing, according to Viettel AI representative, this method helps solve the difficult problem: creating a model that is 5 times larger in scale without using too many resources or affecting processing speed. Thanks to that, the model not only processes data as quickly as smaller versions but also improves dramatically in accuracy, expressiveness and efficiency in solving complex tasks.

While traditional language model fusion methods easily lose important information and reduce the accuracy of models, CAMEx preserves these factors to the maximum, while saving resources, reducing computational costs and expanding the applicability of models in many fields.
A representative of the Viettel AI research team said that the experimental results show that this method has significant potential in improving performance on many natural language processing tasks, such as language modeling, text classification and inference; in areas such as image classification, object detection, content censorship, etc.
ICLR 2025 is one of the world's most prestigious events in the field of AI and Deep Learning, taking place in Singapore from April 24-28, 2025.
