After 2 days of implementing the free transportation program to support flood victims, Vietnam Airlines has transported nearly 30 tons of relief goods.
At noon on September 12, 10 tons of relief goods through the Go Vap District Red Cross were transferred to Vietnam Airlines' warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City, including: 1,000 cartons of milk, 1,000 loaves of bread, 50 kg of medicine, 50 cartons of canned meat, 150 cartons of sausages, 50 cartons of instant noodles, 50 cartons of cashew nuts and 100 life jackets.
This relief shipment was transported on flight VN250, departing at 3:00 p.m. from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to be transferred to areas affected by the storm and flood this afternoon.
Relief goods were delivered to Vietnam Airlines through units and organizations such as: Central Party Office T78, Foreign Security Department A01, Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee...
