Vietnam Airlines and Singapore's SDC Group cooperate to stimulate tourism

Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines, said that the unit is currently operating nearly 100 routes to 22 domestic destinations and 29 international destinations, of which Singapore is a particularly important destination for the airline in Southeast Asia.

Vietnam Airlines is operating direct flights to Singapore from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi with 28 flights per week providing world-class service. For many years, Vietnam has been considered one of Singapore's ten key markets in terms of tourist arrivals.

Therefore, the cooperation is expected to bring outstanding benefits to tourists, as well as contribute to promoting tourism development between Vietnam and Singapore.

According to the signed program, Vietnam Airlines and SDC will jointly develop tourism products and promotional programs to promote Sentosa as a top destination and attract passengers flying on Vietnam Airlines to visit and have fun at Sentosa Island.

Vietnam Airlines and Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

Accordingly, all Vietnam Airlines customers flying to Singapore will be given free entry to Sentosa Island and the option of free tickets to visit one of the famous attractions such as the Wings of Time water music show or the Singapore Cable Car.

From now until March 31, when passengers present their Vietnam Airlines boarding pass on the journey from Vietnam to Singapore at Setosa ticket counters, they will also receive a 20% discount when purchasing Sentosa Fun Discover Pass tickets.

In addition, from now until March 31, Vietnam Airlines is also implementing an early purchase program with good prices for passengers who buy round-trip business class tickets 7 days in advance from the departure date with preferential prices including taxes and fees from only 11,499,000 VND for the route from Ho Chi Minh City - Singapore and only from 15,299,000 VND for the route from Hanoi - Singapore.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chin Sak Hin, Deputy General Director and Chief Financial Officer of Sentosa, said that Sentosa is a high-class resort island of Singapore and one of the leading entertainment and tourism destinations in Asia.
