Vietmap launches SpeedMap M2 dash cam

On October 18, Vietmap officially introduced the SpeedMap M2 dash cam, an improved version of the SpeedMap M1 with a special offer until October 31 only.

This is a line of dash cams featuring Sony Starvis 2 sensors, standard 4G connectivity, and exclusive speed warning features, providing advanced, safe, and convenient technological solutions for all drivers. SpeedMap M2 has a retail price of VND 7,990,000 and will be available for pre-order from October 18 at major Vietmap dealers in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, and Nha Trang.

SpeedMap M2 is equipped with a 2-channel camera that records front and rear of the vehicle. The front camera uses a Sony Starvis 2 IMX675 sensor with 2K resolution, allowing sharp images to be recorded, even in low light conditions. In addition, WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology helps balance the light, ensuring that the image is always clear, not too bright or too dark. The rear camera with FullHD resolution supports good monitoring of situations behind the vehicle.

Standard 4G connectivity

SpeedMap M2 integrates standard 4G connectivity, providing many useful features:

- Update traffic warning data : Drivers can update traffic warning data directly on the device instead of having to go through other applications like the previous version. This feature helps shorten operations and creates quick convenience.

- Collision warning when parking : When a collision occurs, the camera will automatically record images and send notifications via the Vietmap Live application, making remote monitoring easy.

- Real-time video livestream : This feature allows drivers to directly monitor vehicle images and locations via the Vietmap Live application.

- Review route and travel history : This feature helps drivers easily check previous routes and travel history.

Easy to use display

With a 4-inch touchscreen, SpeedMap M2 offers an intuitive interface that clearly displays information such as traffic warnings and speed limits. The screen is significantly larger than the previous version, supporting drivers to operate quickly and easily observe speed warnings that are always displayed on the screen.

Fast and stable transmission

SpeedMap M2 is equipped with 5GHz WiFi, allowing data transmission speeds 4 times faster than the previous version. This makes it easy for drivers to download videos quickly, especially useful in emergency situations that require immediate data extraction.

Supercapacitor battery

Equipped with a supercapacitor battery, SpeedMap M2 operates stably in many harsh weather conditions. The supercapacitor battery also helps protect data when the power supply is interrupted, giving drivers peace of mind during use.
