The journey of taking off from the dream of flying
Vietjet started with the desire to bring Vietnam further on the world aviation map. On May 23, 2014, the airline operated its first flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore, marking an important milestone with the record of "The flight that brought the most smiles in Singapore". Since then, Vietjet has operated more than 15,000 flights, serving more than 3 million passengers between the two countries, contributing to promoting economic, cultural and tourism exchanges.
As the pioneer airline in launching dozens of domestic routes and airports in Vietnam, Vietjet has contributed more than 13 million visitors to Phu Quoc, helping to turn the island from a pristine destination into a leading tourist center in the region. With more than 80,000 hotel rooms and outstanding infrastructure, Phu Quoc is now ready to welcome major international events such as APEC 2027, contributing to Vietnam's global economic integration process.

Global cooperation, aspiration to reach far
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Vietjet not only operates flights but also participates in the global supply chain, cooperating with leading aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, financial, maintenance and technology organizations. The airline is operating more than 115 aircraft and has ordered more than 300 new aircraft, serving more than 230 million passengers, including more than 115 million international passengers.
With Singapore, Vietjet uses more than 1 million tons of fuel each year, achieving a trade turnover of more than 1 billion USD. Bilateral cooperation is opening up many new opportunities as Singapore continues to be the leading investor in Vietnam with a total investment capital of 84.5 billion USD.
Towards a new era of development cooperation, Vietjet, together with HDBank, Vikki Digital Bank, Galaxy Holding, Phu Long... are implementing a series of projects from finance, trade to innovation in Singapore. With strong cooperation between the two governments, the companionship of businesses and the trust of customers, Vietjet hopes to continue to open new journeys, not only connecting geographically but also creating opportunities for prosperous development and happiness for the people.
The opening of the Singapore - Phu Quoc direct flight route is a clear demonstration of Vietjet's aspiration to reach out and develop sustainably, while also demonstrating its commitment to accompany the economic development and strategic cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore.
