Vietjet in Top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam 2024

Forbes Vietnam magazine has just honored and awarded the 50 best listed companies in 2024 with the appearance of leading enterprises in various fields, representing typical business lines.

This list includes many names that have been listed on the stock exchange for many years such as Vinamilk, Vietjet , Petrolimex...

Board Member - Vietjet Deputy General Director Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong (in blue ao dai) received the award honoring the 50 best listed companies in Vietnam 2024.

Based on the audited business results report for 2023, representing the aviation industry, Vietjet is the 5th ranked enterprise in terms of revenue with VND 58,300 billion, up 45% over the same period in 2022. This is a clear demonstration of the airline's strong recovery and sustainable growth strategy.

Forbes Vietnam's Top 50 best listed companies are selected based on a rigorous evaluation process, from preliminary selection based on basic financial criteria to scoring based on revenue growth, profit, ROE, ROC and EPS growth in the period 2019-2023.

In addition, Forbes also carefully considers the company's position in the industry, management quality and development prospects.

In the context of the global economy facing many challenges, in the first 6 months of 2024, Vietjet continued to record outstanding business results with total revenue reaching VND 34,016 billion, up 15% over the same period in 2023. Pre-tax profit reached VND 1,311 billion, up 433% over the same period, exceeding 21% compared to the profit plan for the whole year of 2024.

Vietjet is also rated VnBBB-, among the highest among Vietnamese enterprises.

Notably, the airline is also constantly growing its fleet and expanding its flight network, expected to receive 10 new aircraft in 2024 with a sustainable development plan, expanding its flight network throughout Vietnam and internationally to Australia, Japan, Korea, China, India, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Taiwan (China) ... and beyond to meet the needs of people and tourists.

Since its listing, Vietjet's VJC shares have always been highly appreciated and prioritized by domestic and international investors due to their good profitability.

Not only has Vietjet been listed in the prestigious Forbes magazine's list of the 50 best listed companies many times, it has also been awarded the "Best Financially Managed Airline" award by the world's leading financial magazine International Finance, and honored by Airfinance Journal as one of the world's 50 best airlines for financial health. AirlineRatings also recognized Vietjet as the "World's Best Ultra-Saver Airline".
