Ticket fever on first day of sale

In just the first two days of Vietjet opening flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Con Dao (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), both routes were sold out, especially in economy and Deluxe classes.

According to the record on April 16, all tickets on the Hanoi - Con Dao route for the first day of operation on April 19 were fully booked. Economy and Deluxe classes for the next three days were also fully booked.

As for the Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao route, tickets from economy to business class for the 10:30-11:10 and 13:00-13:40 time slots on April 19 are almost fully booked, with only two seats left in SkyBoss and Eco for the 13:00-13:40 time slot. The shortage of tickets gradually decreased from April 20 to 21, but economy and Deluxe classes were still sold out early.

Pilgrimage basket sale

On Vietjet's website, in the service section such as taxi, flight insurance, passengers were surprised when the airline opened a new service: gift basket.

According to the record, Vietjet introduced the "4 Blessings" green gift basket service to meet the offering needs of tourists in Con Dao, while competing with other airlines. business establishment local offerings

The four green sets include Phuc An, Phuc Cat, Phuc Tai and Phuc Thinh, with prices ranging from 450,000 - 6.4 million VND.

Phuc An costs 450,000 VND, this is a basic set of offerings to visit Co Sau, including a checkered scarf, incense, conical hat, cakes, a flower basket with 10 white lotus flowers, white net chrysanthemums and decorative leaves, a tray of five ki ma pears and seasonal fruits, a prayer and a name tag.

The Phuc Cat set costs 900,000 VND and the Phuc Tai set costs 2.6 million VND. Two affordable sets of offerings, with additional offerings for soldiers.

The Phuc Thinh set costs 6.4 million VND. This is the most luxurious set, including seven items to pay respect to Co Sau, plus a 4-5kg "Phuc" roast pig raised on the island, a set of white pearls, Bong Lua cosmetics, a bottle of perfume and four items to pay respect to soldiers.

Compared to the local market, where a gift basket and fruit tray cost from VND300,000 to VND1.3 million depending on the material and decoration, Vietjet's prices are considered competitive.

However, some tourists said that the service has not made a difference. According to regulations, each passenger is only allowed to buy a maximum of two sets of ceremonial clothes.

Vietjet has not yet released detailed images of the gift baskets.
