The AirlineRatings awards have many categories, with two main groups: Best Airline and Best Low-Cost Airline. In the low-cost group, this is the fifth consecutive time Vietjet has received the award for the world's best ultra-low-cost airline (Best Ultra Low-Cost Airline 2023). The award was given to the airline for providing convenient and premium SkyBoss Business service on wide-body aircraft with multi-purpose leather beds; many culinary experiences.

The rankings have been published annually since 2014, evaluated by a panel of prestigious industry editors. The awards are also based on management reports with criteria such as: fleet age, passenger reviews, profits, investment ratings, product services. Some other major airlines in the world honored this year include Air New Zealand, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines...

On the Airlineratings website, Mr. Geoffrey Thomas, Editor-in-Chief of AirlineRatings, said that Vietjet was recognized for its continuous diversification of new, quality aviation products. The airline operates wide-body aircraft with good SkyBoss Business class tickets, improving the overall experience for passengers before, during and after the flight. "These services are pioneering and revolutionary for low-cost airlines," the site wrote.

Vietjet has also been awarded a 7-star aviation safety rating - the highest in the world - and has been in the Top 10 best and safest low-cost airlines in the world for many years. Last year, the airline was also honored by AirlineRatings as "The Airline that brings the best value to customers globally".

The airline representative said that in the coming time, it will continue to develop its flight network and services, providing many options for good costs, optimal services and friendly, professional crews. Vietjet is currently an official member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and owns the IOSA Operational Safety Certificate. The airline is in the top 50 best airlines in the world for operations and financial health in 2018 and 2019 by AirFinance Journal; continuously receiving the award for best low-cost airline awarded by prestigious organizations such as Skytrax, CAPA, AirlineRatings...
