The conference was held in person and online with the main bridge at the head office - 198 Tran Quang Khai, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi and the bridges at the Southern Representative Office and branches and affiliated companies. Attending the event, at the main bridge of Vietcombank, on the guest delegation side, there were comrades: Comrade Nguyen Duc Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc; Comrade Dao Minh Tu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and representatives of the leaders of the agencies of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and the SBV.

On Vietcombank's side, there were Mr. Pham Quang Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Do Viet Hung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; Members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, members of the Board of Directors, members of the Executive Board; Head of the Supervisory Board; Chief Accountant; Director of the Bloc; members of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Representatives of the leaders of the Vietcombank Party Committee's Advisory Boards; Directors/Heads of Training Centers/Divisions/Offices/Schools under TSC in Hanoi; Secretaries of the grassroots Party Committees, Secretaries of grassroots Party Cells, Directors of Branches/Subsidiaries in Hanoi. At the bridge point of the Southern Representative Office and Branches/Subsidiaries, there were members of the Vietcombank Party Committee's Executive Board working in areas outside Hanoi; representatives of the Party Committee, Board of Directors of branches and companies under the Vietcombank system/leaders of TSC's Departments/Divisions in the regions. At the Conference, Mr. Chu Dinh Dong - Head of the Organization Board of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc announced the decision of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc on the assignment of the person in charge of the Vietcombank Party Committee. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc assigned Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vietcombank to be in charge of the Vietcombank Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the Bank's Party Committee is completed. Next, Mr. Hong Quang - Member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Human Resources Division announced the resolution of the Vietcombank Board of Directors on the assignment of a member of the Board of Directors to be in charge of the Vietcombank Board of Directors. Accordingly, the Vietcombank Board of Directors agreed to assign Mr. Do Viet Hung - Member of the Vietcombank Board of Directors to be in charge of the activities of the Vietcombank Board of Directors from January 1, 2024 until the completion of the personnel restructuring process of the Vietcombank Board of Directors. Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam, Mr. Dao Minh Tu - Permanent Deputy Governor congratulated Mr. Pham Quang Dung - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietcombank for receiving the trust of the Prime Minister, the Banking Industry and the Party Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam, with the decision to appoint him to the position of Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam from January 1, 2024; at the same time, emphasizing that this is not only the joy of Mr. Pham Quang Dung personally, but also the joy of the entire Banking industry as well as Vietcombank.

The Standing Deputy Governor congratulated Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung and Mr. Do Viet Hung for being trusted and selected by leaders at all levels of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and the State Bank of Vietnam to be assigned important tasks and responsibilities and believed that with the consensus of the collective leadership of Vietcombank, the leadership and direction at Vietcombank will be carried out consistently, successfully completing the tasks assigned by the Party and the State, demonstrating the role of a leading and pioneering bank in the Industry. He commented that these are very timely decisions so that Vietcombank always has leaders, leaders, and directs continuous and uninterrupted operations, both in Party work and professional activities. For the comrades assigned tasks, the Standing Deputy Governor of the State Bank requested that they always promote their capacity, constantly try and strive to successfully complete the tasks of the leader and expressed his belief that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung and Mr. Do Viet Hung will excellently complete the assigned tasks. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vietcombank expressed his honor and gratitude to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and the Party Executive Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam for entrusting him with the important tasks and responsibilities. On behalf of the comrades assigned the task, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung accepted the instructions of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc and the Party Executive Committee of the State Bank of Vietnam and hoped to continue to receive the close attention and instructions of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, the Party Executive Committee and the leadership of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung said that this is a great honor but also a heavy responsibility and pledged to work with the Party Committee Standing Committee, Board of Directors, and Board of Management of Vietcombank to promote Vietcombank's glorious 60-year tradition, continue to effectively implement the directions of the Government and the State Bank, successfully implement the Resolution of the 4th Vietcombank Party Congress, term 2020-2025; successfully implement Vietcombank's development strategy with a vision to 2030.
