Expressing her joy in welcoming the delegation to visit and work with the People's Representative Newspaper, Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Thanh Huyen informed about the process of building and developing the People's Representative Newspaper. Over the past time, the newspaper has constantly researched, created, and innovated both in content and form to improve the effectiveness of propaganda work.

Regarding the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Thailand, Editor-in-Chief Pham Thi Thanh Huyen stated that since the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term, although he has not officially visited Thailand, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has had many high-level contacts with the leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand.

With a close geographical location and many similarities in culture, society and people, and being proactive and active members under the common roof of ASEAN, Vietnam always values and wishes to develop increasingly deeper and closer friendship and cooperation relations with Thailand.
Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper Pham Thi Thanh Huyen introduced the activities of the People's Representative Electronic Newspaper to the President of the National Press Council of Thailand, Senior Advisor to CTJ Chavarong Limpattamapanee and delegates.
The Editor-in-Chief of the People's Representative Newspaper wishes to listen to CTJ's sharing and exchange of experiences in: fostering and improving journalism skills; promoting press freedom in a responsible manner, enhancing welfare and supporting the legitimate rights of reporters and journalists; affirming the role and responsibility of the press for stability and prosperity in society... Thereby, to enhance understanding and connection between the two agencies; at the same time, contributing to promoting the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome of the People's Representative Newspaper and the Vietnam Journalists Association, Mr. Chavarong Limpattamapanee stated that the People's Representative Newspaper is one of the political newspapers that plays an important role in the development of Vietnam.
Sharing about the training methods and education for journalists working on political content, Mr. Chavarong Limpattamapanee said that CTJ does not have a separate training course on politics, but journalists participating in reporting at the National Assembly or the Government Office will have a separate training course on: basic knowledge of the country's political system; how to interview, report, write articles; journalism ethics...

Regarding ensuring the welfare and safety of journalists, Chairman Chavarong Limpattamapanee said that some Thai press agencies have organized trade unions but their activities are not really effective. Therefore, CTJ or members of the CTJ-affiliated Association will participate in the task of protecting the rights of journalists, especially those who have to work in dangerous situations.
Specifically, journalists will have a symbol to wear on their wrists so that security forces can identify them, protect them, and people will not harm them. On the other hand, CTJ requires press agencies to provide safety equipment for journalists and reporters in such situations. CTJ has a training program on reporting in dangerous situations, natural disasters, storms and floods, which has been conducted for 10 years; ensuring safety for journalists is the top priority during training.
Chairman Chavarong Limpattamapanee hopes that after the meeting, CTJ and People's Representative Newspaper will have deeper cooperation, promoting the role of a bridge between the press agencies of the two countries' National Assemblies.

The Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association also shared, "Currently, one of the important functions of the Vietnam Journalists Association is to train journalists. This is also considered a top priority for all press agencies, especially in the current period when we must aim to train journalists in the digital age, the 4.0 era" .
Regarding the protection of the rights and safety of journalists, the Vietnam Journalists Association is also organizing training courses for journalists in dangerous situations. The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association hopes that the Vietnam Journalists Association in general and the People's Representative Newspaper in particular will work with CTJ to further strengthen cooperation in training in professional journalism skills and protecting the rights of journalists...
