At the reception, Mr. Alexander Shkolnik expressed his deep condolences to the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Government and the people of Vietnam for the damage caused by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi).
Emphasizing that Vietnam and the Russian Federation have a traditional friendship and are a comprehensive strategic partnership, Mr. Alexander Shkolnik affirmed that one of the top priorities of the Russian Federation Social Chamber is to strengthen the "consistent" relationship between the two countries.
Reviewing the contents of the Cooperation Program between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Russian Federation Social Chamber for the period 2024-2029, Mr. Alexander Shkolnik said that the signing of the Cooperation Program will contribute to promoting exchanges between specialized units of the two sides in many positive directions, becoming a new milestone in the history of cooperation between the two sides.
Speaking at the reception, comrade Do Van Chien said that Vietnam is always grateful for the valuable support and wholehearted help that the Russian people have sent in the past struggle for national independence and reunification, as well as in the cause of national construction and development today.
Accordingly, Vietnam consistently attaches importance to and prioritizes consolidating and enhancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with the Russian Federation, promoting effective and substantive cooperation in all fields, for the common interests of the two peoples, for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front hopes that in the coming time, the two sides will effectively implement the Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation Program for the 2024-2029 period.
In particular, the two sides will promote the enhancement of traditional friendship, solidarity and mutual assistance to consolidate and deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation; organize activities to concretize the agreements reached between the two countries' senior leaders; actively coordinate in cultural exchanges, especially encouraging the study of Russian in Vietnam and the study of Vietnamese in the Russian Federation.
Comrade Do Van Chien expressed his hope that the Russian Federation Social Chamber will continue to coordinate and promote relevant agencies of the Russian Federation to create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in the Russian Federation to consolidate their legal status, do stable and long-term business in Russia, in accordance with the provisions of Russian law, contributing to the development of relations between the two countries.
Within the framework of the visit and work in Vietnam, on the morning of September 10, the delegation of the Russian Federation Social Chamber visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site in Hanoi.
