Vietnam is ready to discuss with the United States to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation.

On April 21, the US Department of Commerce officially finalized anti-dumping and anti-subsidy tariffs on solar cells and panels imported from four Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The average tax rate for Vietnamese enterprises is 395.9%, with four enterprises facing tariffs of up to more than 800%.

Responding to Vietnam's reaction to this, at a press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the afternoon of April 24, the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed: Vietnam is ready to discuss with US agencies to jointly resolve difficulties, ensuring the review of relevant information in an objective, fair manner, in accordance with international law, thereby promoting bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation.

Vietnam commits to making efforts to promote fair and transparent trade activities, while protecting the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises operating in Vietnam.
