Connecting trade, promoting trade cooperation
The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the development of Vietnam-Mongolia relations and were delighted that the two sides agreed to upgrade relations to a "Vietnam-Mongolia Comprehensive Partnership" during the State visit of General Secretary and President To Lam to Mongolia this time.

Agreeing to continue strengthening political trust and promoting cooperation, the two leaders said it is necessary to actively organize and mobilize businesses to participate in trade promotion programs and trade connections in each country, thereby promoting stable growth in trade cooperation.
At the same time, promote people-to-people, cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries; promote deeper cooperation in the fields of labor, science and technology, and information and communications.
At the meeting, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed Vietnam's consistent policy of attaching importance to cooperative relations with Mongolia and wishing to promote the development of bilateral relations in an increasingly substantive, effective and long-term manner, in accordance with the interests, potential and cooperation needs of both countries.
The General Secretary and President highly appreciated the Communist Party of Vietnam and the People's Party for signing a new cooperation memorandum, thereby creating a foundation to promote relations between the two parties in the coming time.
On this occasion, General Secretary and President To Lam, on behalf of the Government and people of Vietnam, thanked the Government and people of Mongolia for supporting 200,000 USD for the people of the North to overcome the damage caused by the recent storm No. 3 (international name: Yagi).
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene wishes to further strengthen and expand cooperation with Vietnam in the fields of politics, defense, security, economy - trade, education, science - technology, transportation, logistics, culture, sports, tourism and people-to-people exchange, as well as at multilateral forums and mechanisms commensurate with the comprehensive partnership.
Open to each other's goods on a reciprocal basis
At the meeting with Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament Dashzegve Amarbayasgalan, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that Vietnam always remembers and appreciates the sentiments and valuable assistance that the Mongolian State and people have given Vietnam during the struggle period and the cause of national construction and development today.
National Assembly Chairman Amarbayasgalan welcomed the State visit to Mongolia by General Secretary and President To Lam, affirming that this will be the basis for promoting comprehensive development of cooperation areas between the two countries in the coming time.

On the National Assembly side, the two sides agreed to promote cooperation and exchanges between the two countries' parliaments, increase the exchange of high-level delegations and exchanges between parliamentarians and young parliamentarians; and promote the bridging role of the Friendship Parliamentary Groups of each country.
The two sides agreed to strengthen the role of the two countries' legislative bodies in coordinating support to promote the connection between the two economies to develop substantially, effectively and comprehensively, in accordance with the Comprehensive Partnership.
Besides actively promoting the organization and mobilizing businesses of the two countries to participate in trade promotion programs and trade connections in each country, the two sides also need to open their doors to each other's goods on the basis of reciprocity.
Thereby, the leaders will soon complete the goal of increasing bilateral trade turnover to 200 million USD in the coming time, increase investment promotion activities and boost cooperation in diversifying raw material supply chains, especially in industries where both sides have strengths.
The two sides promoted the early signing of a new Agreement on Investment Promotion and Protection between Vietnam and Mongolia.
