At the meeting, the two sides discussed promoting cooperation in the agricultural sector, especially for products in which both sides have strengths and demand, such as kiwi and seasonal fresh fruits and processed products from livestock and poultry.
Deputy Minister Dionysios Stamentis hopes that the Vietnamese Embassy will continue to be a bridge to support and promote cooperation between the two countries and will soon welcome a delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to discuss specific cooperation contents.
In addition, at the meeting, the two sides also discussed cooperation in the field of training and human resource supply in the agricultural sector.
For her part, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece is ready to closely coordinate with the Greek Ministry of Agricultural and Food Development as well as Vietnamese authorities in promoting cooperation and expanding markets for agricultural products of both countries, thereby contributing to further substantive development of Vietnam-Greece relations, especially in 2025 when the two countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
