To implement the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework reached during the recent visit of US President Joe Biden, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will closely coordinate with ministries, branches, and localities to work with US agencies and localities to specify the areas of cooperation in the Joint Statement, while taking advantage of existing frameworks and mechanisms such as the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) and frameworks and mechanisms that will be established in the coming time, especially in key and breakthrough areas of trade, investment, science, technology, and innovation; thereby creating an effective cooperation mechanism and a favorable business and investment environment for businesses and people of the two countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also continue to support Vietnamese businesses to strengthen connections, explore cooperation and investment opportunities with US partners to bring benefits and prosperity to both sides. This process requires great efforts from each side, including government agencies, the National Assembly, organizations, localities and businesses.
