The two contestants who won Bronze Medals were: Le Ngoc Bao Anh, 12th grade student, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang; Tran Vinh Khanh, 12th grade student, Quang Tri Town High School, Quang Tri Province.

The 2023 Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Informatics will be held online with 1,471 contestants from 36 countries and territories participating (including 3 countries: Canada, Mexico, Brazil, which were invited to participate but were not considered for awards); China is the host country. The Vietnamese national team, consisting of 15 contestants, will compete online at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi on May 20. According to the regulations of the Organizing Committee of the Asia-Pacific Olympiad in Informatics, Vietnam will select 6 contestants with the highest scores to participate in the awards.

According to the medal ranking, with 100% of the candidates winning prizes, Vietnam ranked 9th in this year's competition. This result has affirmed the quality of general education and the right direction in the work of discovering, selecting and nurturing excellent students of the Ministry of Education and Training; especially demonstrating the efforts of students, teachers, schools and the education sector in the emulation work of good teaching and good learning.
