The economy is still facing many difficulties, but the number of rich people is increasing.

In 2023, the Vietnamese business community will still face many difficulties as consumer demand declines. Many businesses in the real estate sector are still struggling with debt burdens and difficulty selling products, especially non-essential products such as shophouses and resort villas. Retail, automobile manufacturing and trading businesses are also facing difficulties.

Last year, Truong Hai Group Corporation (Thaco) of Mr. Tran Ba Duong recorded a sharp decrease in revenue and profit, and car sales encountered difficulties.

According to a recently released report, in 2023, this enterprise reported a profit after tax of VND 2,734 billion, a sharp decrease compared to VND 7,420 billion of the previous year.
