Mr. Lam said that in 2013, he and his wife met. At that time, due to business difficulties, his family went bankrupt. After that, his whole family had to leave their hometown to earn money to pay off the debt. "My parents went to work, my sister studied and worked in Hanoi. I was depressed and stuck, trying but failing. There was even a time when I didn't have 1,000 VND. There was a time when I wanted to end my life. Those were the most unforgettable memories," Mr. Lam confided.

Although the family's economy has gone through many changes, Ms. Yen still loves Mr. Lam with all her heart. In 2016, Mr. Lam decided to ask Ms. Yen's parents for permission for the two to live together and arranged a wedding to be held after paying off all their debts.

After living together for a while, his wife gave birth to twin boys, Manh Lam and Minh Lam. This was also the time when his life turned a new page. "That was the most priceless gift of my life. When I was at my most lost, my two children were born. At that time, I told myself that no matter what, I had to try to rebuild my life for my children," Lam shared.

After many years of hard work, Mr. Lam's family has paid off all their debts, his job is stable and he has a high income. Therefore, on January 2, he decided to hold a wedding to make up for his wife's sacrifices and losses.
