On August 31, the People's Committee of Pleiku City reported on the handling of the case of the music teacher at Cu Chinh Lan Primary School. This action was taken after the Provincial People's Committee Office sent a document to the People's Committee of Pleiku City requesting a report on the handling of the above case.
The document stated that, in order to put an end to public opinion about the issue of the music teacher at Cu Chinh Lan Primary School, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Chairman of the Pleiku City People's Committee to urgently report the results of handling the case in writing before August 31.

According to the report of Pleiku City People's Committee, the above incident was prolonged because on July 5, the City People's Committee received a complaint from Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran, a teacher at Cu Chinh Lan Primary School, about the management and professional work at Cu Chinh Lan Primary School.
After receiving the petition, the City People's Committee assigned the Pleiku City Department of Education and Training to resolve the petition according to the provisions of the Law on Complaints. On August 18, the City Department of Education and Training issued a decision on resolving the complaint of Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran.
Specifically, from the date Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran received the decision until now, the 30-day period for the decision to resolve the complaint to take effect has not been enough, so Cu Chinh Lan Primary School and the Department of Education and Training have not reported the results of the review and handling to clarify the responsibilities of related organizations and individuals to the People's Committee of Pleiku City.

While this incident has not been resolved, recently (on the morning of August 29), many parents of students came to the gate of Cu Chinh Lan Primary School to hang banners protesting against teacher Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran continuing to teach at the school because they believe that their children will not go to school to avoid being mentally abused.
Accordingly, in front of the gate of Cu Chinh Lan Primary School, a banner appeared with the words "Parents of Cu Chinh Lan Primary School, Pleiku City - Gia Lai protest against Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran continuing to teach Music. Our children do not go to school to be mentally abused".
As previously reported by the Journalist and Public Opinion Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran, a music teacher at Cu Chinh Lan Primary School, was criticized by some parents because in the 2022-2023 school year, the school had 10 students who had not completed the music program.

In the petition, parents said that Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran was not proactive in teaching, had poor communication and suggestion skills, causing students to not feel the lesson content. As a result, they did not develop skills to keep up with the requirements.
In addition, the inspection and evaluation process lacked objectivity, so it did not create consensus, causing frustration for students. Therefore, parents asked the school and the Department of Education and Training to review the teachers' teaching. After the incident, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee issued a document requesting the Pleiku City People's Committee to direct specialized agencies to verify and clarify the content.
According to the inspection results of the Department of Education and Training of Pleiku City, Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran arbitrarily corrected the learning results of 75 students in various classes. In particular, this teacher used offensive words and language that did not meet the ethical standards of a teacher.
In the face of the above shortcomings, the Department of Education and Training of Pleiku City recommends that the school, based on the conclusion of the inspection team, regulations on disciplinary action against civil servants, organize a review to clarify the responsibilities of organizations and individuals who have violated the law and handle them strictly in accordance with the law. For Ms. Nguyen Do Thi Bao Tran, the review should clarify shortcomings and violations, strictly comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training...
