Why were a series of leaders of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union disciplined?

On August 28, the Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee announced the results of disciplinary action against the Party Delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union for the 2016-2021 term and a number of related Party organizations and Party members.

Mr. Vu Hong Hien, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, announced some important contents in the inspection work.

According to the announcement, the Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee conducted an inspection when there were signs of violations against the Party Delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union for the 2016-2021 term in leading and directing the implementation of management and operation of the revolving fund for household water supply and sanitation.

According to the conclusion of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, the Party Delegation of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union for the 2016-2021 term and a number of Party organizations and Party members at the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union committed violations and shortcomings to the extent that Party disciplinary measures must be applied.

Based on regulations on the authority to handle disciplinary actions against Party organizations and Party members; considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of violations; the results of the review of violating Party organizations and Party members and the proposals of Party organizations during the process of considering and enforcing disciplinary actions, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has enforced disciplinary actions and submitted them to competent authorities for disciplinary action against Party organizations and Party members.

Specifically, the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee decided to issue a warning to the Party Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union for the 2016-2021 term; and issue a reprimand to the Party Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union for the 2021-2026 term.

The Executive Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee decided to issue a disciplinary warning to Ms. Vu Thi Thuy, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Delegation, former Secretary of the Party Cell, and former President of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union.

Disciplinary action against Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thao, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Party Cell Secretary, President of Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union.

In addition, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to impose disciplinary action against the Party Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms.

Disciplinary action against Ms. Le Thi Ngoc, former member of the Party Committee, former member of the Party cell, former Vice President of the Women's Union of Hai Duong province.
