Why are major shareholders and insiders racing to sell shares?

*VFS: Hoa An Financial Investment Joint Stock Company, an organization related to Ms. Nghiem Phuong Nhi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Nhat Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (stock code: VFS) bought 20.5 million VFS shares from September 16 to September 24, increasing its ownership ratio from 0% to 17%.

In addition to being the chairwoman of Nhat Viet Securities Company, Ms. Nhi is also the chairwoman of Hoa An Finance Company.

*APH: Ms. Pham Anh Duong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of An Phat Holdings Corporation (stock code: APH) - a plastics trading enterprise has just reported the successful sale of 6.6 million shares out of 11.87 million APH shares registered for sale.

Immediately after that, Ms. Anh Duong announced that she would register to sell all remaining 5.2 million shares from October 1 to October 30 to restructure her investment portfolio.

*PPC: REE Energy Company Limited, an organization related to Mr. Nguyen Quang Quyen, a member of the Board of Directors of Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company (stock code: PPC) registered to continue selling 2 million PPC shares from October 3 to October 31 to reduce the ownership ratio.

If the sale is successful, REE Energy's ownership ratio will be only 20.1% (equivalent to 64.4 million units). Previously, REE Energy Company also registered to sell 2 million PPC shares but was only able to sell 5,000 shares due to unfavorable market conditions.

*PVD: Dragon Capital fund group has just bought 100,000 PVD shares of the Petroleum Drilling and Well Services Corporation, increasing its ownership ratio to more than 5%, officially becoming a major shareholder of this enterprise since September 20.

Dividend payment:

*NTL : On October 11, Tu Liem Urban Development Joint Stock Company will pay cash dividends for 2024 at a rate of 12%. The ex-dividend date is October 2. The last registration date is October 4.

*CNG: On October 31, CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company will pay 2023 cash dividends at a rate of 12%. The ex-dividend date is October 11 and the record date is October 15.

*CHS: On October 8, Ho Chi Minh City Public Lighting Joint Stock Company will pay cash dividends at a rate of 9.5%.
