According to the announcement of the Central Inspection Commission, from June 12 to 15, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held its 29th meeting under the chairmanship of Committee Chairman Tran Cam Tu.
At this session, the Central Inspection Committee reviewed the inspection results when there were signs of violations against the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

The Central Inspection Commission found that the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; lacked responsibility, slackened leadership, direction, and lacked inspection and supervision, allowing the Provincial People's Council Party Delegation, the Provincial People's Committee Party Executive Committee, and many organizations and individuals to seriously violate Party regulations and State laws in approving policies, planning, adjusting planning, allocating land, granting certificates and calculating land use fees, allocating, managing and using the budget for a number of projects. These include projects implemented by FLC Group Joint Stock Company and International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC).
In addition, some cadres and party members declared their personal assets dishonestly and incompletely, violating the Law on Anti-Corruption, violating regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; some cadres and party members were disciplined and criminally prosecuted.
Responsibility for the above violations and shortcomings belongs to the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the terms 2010 - 2015, 2015 - 2020; the Party Delegation of the Provincial People's Council for the term 2016 - 2021; the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the terms 2011 - 2016, 2016 - 2021 and the following individuals: Mai Van Ninh, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Delegation, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Trinh Van Chien, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, former Secretary of the Party Executive Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Dinh Xung, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Executive Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mai Xuan Liem, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chu Pham Ngoc Hien, former Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former member of the Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Transport, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee;

Responsibility also belongs to Mr. Vu Dinh Xinh, Mr. Dao Trong Quy, former Provincial Party Committee member, former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Hoang Sy Binh, Mr. Trinh Huu Hung, former Provincial Party Committee member, former Director of the Department of Health; and Mr. Do Huu Quyet, Director of the Department of Information and Communications.
According to the Central Inspection Commission, the above violations and shortcomings are also the responsibility of a number of party organizations and party members.
The Central Inspection Committee affirmed that the above violations have caused very serious consequences, causing huge losses of money and state assets, causing bad public opinion in society, affecting the reputation of the Party organization and local government, to the point that disciplinary action must be considered.
The Central Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to promptly lead and direct the correction of violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out; review, consider responsibilities and discipline related organizations and individuals, and report the results to the Central Inspection Commission.
