Dak Bla River is about 139 km long, originating from the foot of Ngoc Linh Mountain in Tu Mo Rong District, Kon Tum Province. The river flows from East to West, opposite to other rivers in our country, so local people often call it the river that flows backwards.
Since ancient times, the Dak Bla River has provided abundant aquatic resources, sheltering and feeding many generations of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands. In the villages of the Central Highlands, there are still interesting legends explaining the phenomenon of reverse flow and the dark red water of this river. The Dak Bla River is also an endless source of inspiration for artists and writers with many works of poetry, music, fine arts, photography, etc.
