Van Quyet returns, Cong Phuong continues to be absent

Coach Philippe Troussier added Nguyen Van Quyet ( Hanoi FC) and Vu Van Thanh (Hanoi Police Club) to the list of players to join the Vietnam national team in November 2023. This is an important training session to prepare for the second qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup in Asia - the first official tournament of the Vietnam national team under the French coach.

The rest of the list is made up of players who played in the FIFA Days friendly matches in October 2023. Doan Van Hau and Nguyen Quang Hai are absent due to injury.
