On the morning of June 30, striker Nguyen Van Quyet received his bachelor's degree from Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports with a major in football. Accompanying this player at the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Giang Dong - the striker's father-in-law, his wife Nguyen Huyen My and his son Nguyen Van Quan.
This is an important preparation step for the future of the striker born in 1991. He will aim for a position in coaching and sports management after retiring from his football career. Van Quyet will also participate in coaching courses organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Nguyen Van Quyet moved to play for Hanoi FC in 2010. During his 13 years playing for the capital team, he went from a young player to captain and made a huge contribution to the success of Hanoi FC. Van Quyet scored 107 goals in the V-League alone.
He and the team won the V-League 5 times, the National Cup 3 times and the National Super Cup 4 times. At the national team level, Van Quyet played an important role in the period from 2013-2017. Under coach Park Hang Seo, Van Quyet was the captain of the Vietnamese team at the AFF Cup 2018 and won the championship. After that, he was absent from many training sessions and did not return at the AFF Cup 2022.
In V-League 2023, Van Quyet was suspended for 8 matches for his lack of restraint with the referee. However, he is still the domestic player who scored the most goals in the tournament with 6 goals. Many of Van Quyet's goals directly brought victory to coach Bandovic and his team.
Van Quyet will return to Hanoi FC after 4 more matches. He can play in the second half of phase 2, when Hanoi FC enters a tense championship race with Hanoi Police Club, Thanh Hoa Club or Viettel FC.
