Dong Nai artists must be pioneers on the ideological, cultural, literary and artistic front.

The workshop was chaired by comrades: Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Cao Tien Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Cao Tien Dung emphasized that the rapid development of science and technology has led to profound changes in social issues, including the ideological, cultural, and artistic fronts. Therefore, the task of literature and art is now more than ever at the forefront. The complex developments of the global economy have a great impact on the literary and artistic works of artists, so each artist must be a pioneer, leading the way on the ideological, cultural, and artistic fronts.

The conference had 27 presentations by cultural researchers, scientists , participating units and individuals. Most of the presentations mentioned the aspects that created Dong Nai's culture and arts over the past half century and oriented the development in the journey to a new era, the era of national growth.

At the workshop, delegates analyzed in depth issues such as: historical context, development of Vietnamese literature and arts, contributions of Dong Nai literature and arts 50 years after the country's reunification under the leadership of the Party; the process of movement, achievements, limitations, causes and issues raised; creative work, theory, criticism, methods of promoting literature and arts; directions, tasks and solutions for developing Dong Nai literature and arts until 2030, vision to 2045...

At the workshop, a discussion on Dong Nai Literature and Arts: 50 years of dedication took place. Delegates shared about the diverse life of Dong Nai Literature and Arts; at the same time, they emphasized digital transformation, innovation in science and technology, identifying and proposing solutions to counter the arguments of hostile forces that sabotage and distort the policies of the Party and State through literature and arts as well as using technology to promote and spread literary and artistic works to the public.

In addition, delegates proposed that provincial leaders create conditions for artists to have spaces to display their works of literature and art; have breakthroughs in mechanisms and strategic visions for the development of literature and art, contributing to building and promoting the cultural values ​​and people of Dong Nai to become an important resource and driving force for comprehensive and sustainable development.

In his concluding remarks at the workshop, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Cao Tien Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the opinions and proposals of the delegates at the workshop. The opinions will be compiled by the workshop organizers and included in the documents of the 12th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, to provide orientations for the development of Dong Nai's culture and arts in the coming time.
