After a month, if online users have a need, they have to pay to become an official member, buying views of sensitive photos and videos with the face of their favorite artist.

According to Sina , the selling price of obscene deepfake images of female stars is 5 yuan/image ( 0.72 USD ). On the e-commerce market, customized pornographic videos are being sold with a starting price of 50 yuan ( 7.23 USD ) for 30 seconds.

Model Lai Lai said the group that stole her face was a deepfake corporation. She once spent 200 yuan (nearly 29 USD ) to join a group that buys and sells this type of face-swapping porn. After becoming a member of the closed group, she was offered fake photos and videos on demand with the highest price of only 15 USD .

According to Lai Lai, not only photos of famous people, this criminal group also accepts to fake intimate photos of ordinary people. They even "perform" cutting and pasting people into pornographic films or turning the original clothed photo into a nude photo with just a few tricks.

According to the police, in addition to Lai Lai, there are thousands of Chinese artists such as Liu Haocun, Duong Sieu Viet, Ngu Thu Han, Truong Ba Chi, Vuong Tri... whose fake pornographic images have been stolen and sold on social networks.
