Athletes from 33 countries participate in the Asian Golf Tourism Congress - AGTC 2025

On the afternoon of March 31, a press conference was held in Da Nang to open the Asian Golf Tourism Congress. The program attracted nearly 100 domestic and foreign delegates, including leaders of departments, branches, districts, the President of the World Golf Tourism Association, tourism businesses and press agencies.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Asian Golf Tourism Congress will take place from March 30 to April 5, 2025, with main activities such as: Survey program for golf travel agencies (March 31 - April 1, 2025); AGTC Golf Championship 2025 (April 2, 2025); Asian Golf Tourism Conference with more than 4,500 meetings between buyers and sellers (April 3 - 4, 2025); Danang City Reception and IAGTO Awards Ceremony (April 4, 2025).

Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, said that Da Nang hosting the Asian Golf Tourism Convention for the second time is not only an honor, but also a valuable opportunity for us to introduce to international friends a dynamic and modern coastal city; promote the image of golf tourism.

This event will help Da Nang affirm its position on the regional and international golf tourism map and open up many opportunities for cooperation and investment to develop golf tourism and luxury tourism.

The 2025 Asian Golf Tourism Congress in Da Nang is expected to have 450 delegates from more than 33 countries and territories, including experts, golf course operators, and golf travel agencies, who are official members of the World Golf Tourism Association.

The Asian Golf Tourism Championship - AGTC 2025 in Da Nang will have 450 delegates from more than 33 countries and territories participating.

Mr. Peter Walton, President of the World Golf Tourism Association said: "When we first brought AGTC to Da Nang in 2017, there were only 4 golf courses in Da Nang and Central Vietnam. We expected that the success of the event would promote the sustainable development of golf tourism here. Eight years later, we returned and witnessed strong growth with 8 world-class golf courses."

At the event, the World Golf Tourism Association will announce the World Golf Tourism Awards, honoring outstanding golf courses and destinations voted by international golf tour operators. In particular, Da Nang will be awarded the title "Da Nang - Outstanding Contribution to Golf Tourism" (Award for golf tourism dedication for Da Nang Golf destination), recognizing outstanding contributions to the development of golf tourism.
