The National Assembly Standing Committee has just issued a plan to organize question and answer activities at the 25th Session.

The National Assembly Standing Committee decides on two groups of questions and the people who will answer the questions.

The first group of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Justice includes the implementation of the law and ordinance development program; solutions to ensure the progress, quality and procedural records of projects and drafts submitted by the Government to the National Assembly; solutions to improve the quality of the legal system, solutions to control power, prevent corruption and negativity in the law-making work under the responsibility of the Government.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee questioned the current situation and solutions to improve the capacity, effectiveness and efficiency of the work of inspecting legal documents; solutions to overcome the slow promulgation, overlapping and contradictory content and limitations and violations in the promulgation of documents detailing laws, resolutions of the National Assembly, ordinances and resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee; the current situation and solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings, and improve the effectiveness of asset auctions and judicial appraisals.

Responsible for answering: Minister of Justice. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang; Ministers of Finance, Natural Resources and Environment, Health, Public Security; Government Inspector General; Minister, Head of the Government Office; Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy will also participate in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The second group of issues falls under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, including solutions to remove difficulties in agricultural exports (narrowing output markets, many businesses without orders, prices of some key agricultural products falling, income and life of farmers affected...); activities to exploit, protect and develop aquatic resources; solutions to remove the "yellow card" of the European Commission (EC) for aquatic products; conversion of land use purposes, recovery of rice-growing land areas, ensuring food security and rice export.

The main responsibility for answering includes the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang; Ministers of Finance, Industry and Trade, Natural Resources and Environment, Science and Technology, Information and Communications, and Foreign Affairs also participate in answering questions and explaining related issues.

The question and answer session is scheduled to last one day, on August 15. According to the program, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will deliver the opening and closing speeches for the entire question and answer session.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh chaired the question-and-answer session on a group of issues within the Ministry of Justice's responsibility in the morning.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai chaired the question-and-answer session on a group of issues under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the afternoon of the same day.

The questioning session was broadcast live on television and radio, and connected to online television for voters and people to follow.
