The National Assembly Standing Committee is about to consider the Government members for the 15th National Assembly term.

At the 42nd session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the National Assembly's resolutions on the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term.

The Office of the National Assembly has announced the 42nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Accordingly, the session is expected to take place in 2.5 days (February 5-7). National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will deliver the opening and closing speeches. At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the following draft laws: Law on Government Organization (amended); Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended) and Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly.

Along with that, give opinions on the National Assembly's resolutions on the organizational structure of the Government for the 15th National Assembly term; the structure of the number of Government members for the 15th National Assembly term; the organizational structure of the National Assembly's specialized agencies; and the number of members of the Standing Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

Resolution of the National Assembly addresses issues arising in legal provisions related to organizational arrangement.

The Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the specific tasks, powers and organizational structure of the National Assembly's specialized agencies will also be submitted and considered.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee considered and approved a number of resolutions to implement the Law on Organization of People's Courts in 2024.

Consider and adopt a resolution approving the proposal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy on the organization of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

These are draft laws and resolutions that will be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration at the 9th Extraordinary Session (expected to take place in February 2025) to serve the work of streamlining the apparatus to be more streamlined, effective and efficient.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on explaining, accepting and revising the draft Law on Teachers and the Law on Chemicals (amended); and the Ordinance on Management and Protection of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Site.
