The Standing Committee of the National Assembly approved 04 Resolutions

Specifically, in Resolution No. 1579/NQ-UBTVQH15 , the National Assembly Standing Committee approved Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, a National Assembly delegate of Ha Nam province, a member of the National Assembly working full-time at the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

During his tenure as Deputy Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee of the 15th National Assembly, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung received a position allowance coefficient of 1.30.

* Pursuant to Resolution No. 1584/NQ-UBTVQH15 , the National Assembly Standing Committee established a Drafting Committee to draft a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Internal Regulations of the National Assembly session issued together with Resolution No. 71/2022/QH15 dated November 15, 2022 of the National Assembly.

The Drafting Committee of the draft Resolution is headed by Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung; Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngan is Deputy Head of the Committee.

The Drafting Committee is responsible for organizing the drafting, taking responsibility for the quality and progress of drafting the draft resolution and has the following tasks: (i) researching, developing the draft resolution and implementing the processes and procedures in drafting the resolution according to the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, relevant laws and resolutions; (ii) researching, explaining, and receiving opinions from agencies, organizations and individuals on the draft resolution; discussing, giving opinions, and developing a draft submission and other documents during the process of organizing the drafting of the resolution; (iii) ensuring that the provisions of the draft are consistent with the Party's policies and guidelines, ensuring the constitutionality, legality and consistency of the draft with the legal system; and ensuring the feasibility of the document.

The Office of the National Assembly is the standing body of the Drafting Committee and is responsible for assisting the Drafting Committee in organizing the drafting of the draft Resolution to ensure quality and progress.

* In Resolution No. 73/2025/UBTVQH15, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved: End the activities of the Secretariat of the 15th National Assembly from March 7, 2025.

Resolution No. 32/2023/UBTVQH15 dated February 14, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Secretariat and related regulations on functions, tasks, organizational structure, policies and regimes for the Secretariat and members of the Secretariat cease to be effective from the effective date of this Resolution.

* In Resolution No. 75/2025/UBTVQH15, the National Assembly Standing Committee adjusted the Law and Ordinance Development Program (Legislative Program) for 2025.

Accordingly, the following draft laws and resolutions are added to the 2025 Legislative Program:

- Submit to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 9th Session (May 2025) according to the simplified procedures and order of the National Assembly's draft Resolution on Financial Centers in Vietnam; draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the People's Procuracy in initiating civil lawsuits to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups or to protect public interests; draft Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Internal Regulations of the National Assembly Session issued together with Resolution No. 71/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly;

- Submit to the National Assembly for comments and approval at the 10th Session (October 2025) the draft Law on Disease Prevention.

At the same time, adjust the time for submitting the draft Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement (amended) from the Program for comments at the 9th Session (May 2025) and approval at the 10th Session (October 2025) to the Program for comments and approval at the 10th Session (October 2025) according to the procedure at one session.

Adjust the time for considering and approving the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils from the 9th Session (May 2025) to the 10th Session (October 2025).

The Committee for People's Aspirations and Supervision shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to study and absorb the opinions of National Assembly deputies at the 8th Session (October 2024) to complete the draft Law, and at the same time study and clarify the scope of amendment (change from amending and supplementing a number of articles to comprehensively amending the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils) to report to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and decision.

Add the draft Resolution on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Working Regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee issued together with Resolution No. 29/2022/UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee to the Program, submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee for consideration and approval at the July 2025 meeting...
