According to Secretary General of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong, the questioning and answering activities as well as the issues selected for questioning have closely followed reality and met the wishes of voters.

At the morning meeting on May 30, the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong emphasized that the issues selected for questioning at the recent National Assembly session were closely following reality, hitting "hot" issues, meeting the aspirations of voters and people nationwide.
According to Mr. Cuong, 2023 and 2024 are two important years in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. The National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee have issued resolutions on the 2023 and 2024 Supervision Program to ensure feasibility and meet practical requirements.
Thereby, the supervisory activities of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly agencies, National Assembly delegations and National Assembly deputies have achieved important results with many innovations and improvements, ensuring progress and quality.
Notably, the questioning and answering activities at National Assembly sessions and meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee are in accordance with regulations with many innovations; the selected questioning issues closely follow reality.
National Assembly discusses 2025 supervision program, State budget settlement
The report on the results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the sixth session of the 15th National Assembly shows that 2,210 petitions have been settled and responded to by voters, reaching 99.7%.
Voters' recommendations relate to most areas of social life, including some areas that many voters are interested in such as: Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Health; Transportation; Education - Training; Agriculture and rural areas.
“At the end of the question and answer sessions, the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee issued four resolutions covering 10 areas,” General Secretary Bui Van Cuong emphasized.
Besides, thematic monitoring activities also continue to have many innovations in organization and implementation, thereby achieving effectiveness and positive results.
"In particular, based on the monitoring results, the National Assembly considered and approved a Resolution on a number of specific mechanisms and policies to implement national target programs at the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly," said Mr. Cuong.
According to him, in 2024, the National Assembly will continue to conduct thematic supervision on "Implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development" right after the Law on Real Estate Business (amended) and the Law on Housing (amended) are passed to contribute to bringing these laws into life soon.
Regarding the National Assembly's planned Supervision Program for 2025, the Secretary General of the National Assembly said that the National Assembly said that the National Assembly Standing Committee has selected 2 topics for the National Assembly to consider and decided to select 1 topic for supreme supervision.
In particular, topic 1 will monitor the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 comes into effect.
Topic 2 monitors the implementation of policies and laws on the development and use of human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development, especially high-quality human resources./.
