The National Assembly Standing Committee gives opinions on the policy of investing in high-speed railways.

According to the announcement from the National Assembly Office, on November 3 and 6, the National Assembly Standing Committee met to give opinions on a number of contents, before submitting them to the National Assembly at the 8th Session.

Notably, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave its opinion on the investment policy for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will also comment on the National Assembly's draft resolution on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles related to projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City and Khanh Hoa Province; comment on the draft Resolution on piloting the implementation of commercial housing projects through agreements on receiving land use rights or having land use rights.

At the same time, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the investment policy of the National Target Program on Drug Prevention and Control until 2030.

If the documents are prepared in time, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on adjusting the investment policy of the Long Thanh International Airport Project in Resolution No. 94/2015/QH13 of the National Assembly.

Regarding law making, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the reception, explanation and revision of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy; give opinions (for the second time) on the two drafts of the Law on Corporate Income Tax (amended) and the Law on Employment (amended).

According to the agenda of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on the morning of November 13, authorized by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Transport will present a report on the investment policy for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis. Immediately after the Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee presented the verification report, National Assembly deputies discussed this content in groups.

The National Assembly will discuss in the hall the investment policy for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis on the afternoon of November 20.

The resolution on investment policy for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis is expected to be approved by the National Assembly before the closing session of the 8th Session (morning of November 30).
