Resolutely direct and operate in all areas, especially promptly and synchronously organize the implementation of Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Party Central Committee on the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more; Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP dated February 5, 2025 of the Government on growth targets of sectors, fields and localities to ensure the national growth target in 2025 reaches 8% or more. The province also focuses on promptly and promptly removing many difficulties and obstacles in implementing socio-economic tasks and investment in production and business. Industry continued to grow well, many trading activities, connecting supply and demand of goods, promoting trade, stimulating consumption were organized effectively. Budget collection achieved positive results, exceeding the average progress of the assigned estimate and increasing quite well compared to the same period last year. Interest rates were maintained stable, market prices were well controlled.
State budget revenue in the first 3 months of 2025 is estimated at VND 2,079.7 billion, reaching 36.79% of the annual estimate, exceeding the average progress of the estimated revenue. Mobilized development investment capital implemented in the area in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at VND 4,433.7 billion, up 10.68% over the same period in 2024. The index of industrial production (IIP) in March increased by 3.49% compared to February 2025, up 13.57% compared to March 2024; IIP in the first quarter of 2025 increased by 15.23% over the same period last year, the IIP growth rate was 2.47 points higher than the same period last year. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in March 2025 is estimated at VND 6,447.6 billion. The accumulated value in the first quarter of 2025 reached VND 20,221 billion, an increase of 25.43% over the same period in 2024. However, in addition to the achieved results, the economy still has some difficulties and limitations such as: The implementation of some tasks on economic growth and public investment in some sectors and localities is still slow and not drastic. Coordination in advising on handling some tasks of socio-economic development, implementation and disbursement of public investment capital plans is not tight and regular; the results of implementation and disbursement of public investment plans are still slow, especially investment procedures for newly started projects; some manufacturing sectors have labor shortages at times due to some new projects coming into operation, some projects increasing production orders; the situation of some infectious diseases has increased compared to the same period. Prolonged hot weather with high temperatures affects people's health. Drought, saltwater intrusion, and riverbank erosion have significantly affected production activities; The weather is hot and sunny and is expected to last, causing a very high risk of dangerous infectious diseases in livestock and poultry.
