From 2022 to 2023, the Department of Education and Training received 24 opinions and recommendations from voters and people focusing on issues such as: Tuition fees during the school year; textbook support; building facilities; school violence; drowning in children; management of extra teaching and learning, etc. 100% of opinions and recommendations were resolved by the Department, explained, and informed voters and people. For recommendations under the authority of the Central Ministries and branches, not under the authority of the province, during the resolution process, the Department also explained so that voters could understand and share, and at the same time discussed solutions in the coming time. In addition, some voters' opinions related to investment in facilities, teaching equipment, policies and regimes for schools and students, due to the need for a roadmap and time for consultation and implementation, encountered difficulties and voters' recommendations were not promptly resolved.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee supervises the handling of responses to voters' and people's opinions and recommendations at the Department of Education and Training.
Through the working session, the Supervisory Delegation requested the Department to clarify the existing causes and difficulties in resolving opinions and recommendations of voters and people; at the same time, promptly complete the report on specific proposals and recommendations so that the Supervisory Delegation can synthesize and send it to competent authorities for consideration.
