Fatherland Front Committees at all levels: Proactively grasp information and social opinion at the grassroots level - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- In recent times, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have actively and proactively grasped the thoughts and aspirations of the people and the social opinion situation in the area, thereby serving well the propaganda work, mobilizing people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws and policies.

To effectively carry out the above work, the Fatherland Front system in the province has established a team of social public opinion collaborators to collect people's opinions and aspirations. Currently, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has 19 collaborators including representatives of some specialized departments of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations of the province, representatives of Fatherland Front Committees of districts and cities. Through this, it aims to grasp and gather opinions and aspirations of union members, association members, and the masses in the area in various fields.

Ms. Hoang Thanh Cham, Deputy Head of the Association Building Committee, Provincial Farmers' Association, collaborator in collecting opinions and aspirations of the People of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said: In carrying out the assigned tasks, I always proactively grasp the situation of public opinion related to cadres and farmer members. On average, each quarter I collect from 4 to 5 opinions of cadres and members with many contents such as: prices of agricultural materials; vocational training policies in rural areas associated with actual needs; training, guidance on the use of digital technology in management, production, consumption of agricultural products... We collect all opinions and send them to the competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

Similarly, the Fatherland Front Committees of districts and cities have also established teams of social opinion collaborators. Mr. Tran Lenh Truong, Vice Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee, in charge of the Social Opinion Collaborators Team of the Lang Son City Fatherland Front Committee, said: Currently, the team has 15 members including officials of the City Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations of the city, and representatives of 8 communes and wards in the area. Through this team, we grasp the situation of social opinion in all fields to reflect to all levels and sectors as well as to serve well the propaganda and orientation work for the people. Since the beginning of 2025, the team has collected 11 opinions and recommendations from union members, association members, and people to send to all levels and sectors for consideration.

Not only through the above team, in recent times, the Fatherland Front system in the province has deployed to grasp information and social opinion at the grassroots level in many forms such as: through propaganda work, social security activities towards the grassroots level, through prestigious people, social supervision and criticism work, voter contact activities, social networking sites, newspapers, etc.

For example, from 2024 to present, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have organized social criticism on 194 draft documents of the same-level authorities, with a total of nearly 1,200 comments from experts and people. All comments were fully explained and accepted by the drafting agency. Or, through the contact activities of voters of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels, from 2024 to present, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have compiled more than 7,000 comments, recommendations and reflections for consideration and resolution by all levels and sectors.

In mid-March 2025, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched the mailbox model "Listening to people's opinions to participate in Party and government building" in residential areas and on the electronic news site (with QR codes printed on the mailboxes). After the launch, the Fatherland Front of each district and city in the province selected 5 communes to place 5 suggestion mailboxes for pilot implementation, of which 4 mailboxes were placed in the village's cultural houses, 1 mailbox was placed at the commune's citizen reception room.

Mr. Luong Tien Trinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said: Through information channels, the Fatherland Front at all levels has grasped more of the situation and public opinion, thereby verifying and reflecting to all levels and sectors for consideration and resolution. At the same time, through this, the Fatherland Front system in the province has more basis to develop plans and more effectively implement propaganda work, mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and respond to campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in the area.

By promptly grasping and reflecting the people's thoughts and aspirations and issues of public concern, it has contributed to maintaining political stability, creating social consensus, and preventing the emergence of "hot spots" of security and order in the area.
